Lolë is seeking a Distribution Manager to join our team at the magnificent Château Viger located in the heart of the Old Port of Montreal.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Distribution Manager is responsible for management of the daily operations related to the arrival and shipping of the merchandise within our different distribution channels from our distribution center and 3PL’s warehouses. The chosen person will have to be able to constantly deal with several requests/projects at the same time and tight deadlines for which a good sense of prioritization and organization will be key.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Organize, plan, control and oversee daily distribution operations for the entrances and exits of our various facilities in Canada, the United States and Europe.

  • Ensure that goods are delivered on time and in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Work with our warehouse and 3PL’s to monitor day-to-day operations and plan the timing and resources needed.
  • Negotiate business agreements with the partners involved in the distribution of goods.
  • Maintain harmonious business relationships with suppliers.
  • Monitor the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of warehouse operations.
  • Provide internal customer service and manage special projects / requests from other departments.
  • Hire, train, lead and motivate staff

YOUR PROFILE

Minimum of 5 to 7 years in a similar role.

  • University degree in a related field.
  • Experience in distribution management with warehouses, 3PL’s and Costco.
  • Experience in B2B and B2C an asset.
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to make decisions, exercise judgment and take initiative.
  • Flexibility and ability to work effectively in a multitasking and dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in verbal and written English and French.
